snow
Well it is snowing out. It started this morning and is supposed to last through tomorrow. They let children go to school in the morning but left the school out at 12:15. It is still snowing and we are supposed to get a lot more snow but here is what it looks like now.

I haven’t been on Xanga for a few days with a crazy busy weekend and Monday, so I just got your message about your Uncle. I am praying for a complete recovery for him. It sounds encouraging that they have a tentative release date for him. Keep us updated on how he is doing.
We area getting lots of snow here too. We are expected to get 8 to 14 inches by Wednesday evening. Blessings
Snowplows always remind me of the famous “Snowplow Game” where the Dolphins were playing at the home of the New England Patriots and when the Patriots were about to kick a field goal in the middle of a storm, the guy with the snowplow came out and cleared off a place from which to kick. The competition committee outlawed this practice before the beginning of the next football season. Yeah, the home team always has an advantage, but that was going too far.

great picture, you’ve got more snow than we do……we rarely get any, it’s usually mostly ice
great post
Snow. It’s that white stuff that falls from the sky in some places right? Houston doesn’t see much of that. Good post.
Dear Kristen,
As I did last time there was a Featured Grownups topic, I am going to leave you two comments and four eprops for this post. First will be this “form comment” from my “Internet Island’ persona, which is the blogring I run. Since the purpose of the FG ring is to get all the posts on Featured Content, and I’m busy at work right now, I will post this comment to give you props, then I will return with more time, hopefully later today, and actually read your article, and comment in depth.
Please do not respond to this comment, as it is just copy/pasted, and comes from my blogring site. My “regular” site is WhenWordsCollide, which I write under my “baldmike2004″ profile name.
As the governator of our fair state of California said once…..”I’ll be back”

Dear Kristen,
Neat photos. I don’t know much about snow, but wouldn’t it be better for your cousin to wait for it to stop?
Thanks for your visits to my blog and for the nice comments.

How much more snow did you get? It doesn’t look like that much from the photos (but judging by what I’m seeing on the news, I’m sure there’s more there now!).
I like the kid pic.
: )
I particularly like the pink boots. It’s about time that us womenfolk get a winter boot that says “I’m warm and I’m pretty”! You CAN have both.
I see how the cows all huddle together for warmth!
I love these photos! They remind me of home!
I’ll be back to read – spreading my props frist!:fun:
Great post and the pictures are good too…have a good one…Smile
we got snow too!
cows in snow? how do they stay warm? (stop laughing…) =) guess i’ve never really thought about it.
thanks for sharing!

Brrr! Stay warm!
Luckily it looks like you didn’t get any ice, though. Can’t wait for Spring, myself!
It’s nice to see the photographs…pictures tell a whole story.
Hm- I don’t think it’s quite as much snow as we’ve got here in northern Indiana. Not that I’m bragging about it, mind you.
I am reading all these entries on snow and it simly remains a world totally foreign to me.
hi there- we got snow yesterday. not alot, but I am sick of it. I don’t like winter.
I wanted to comment on your post about the “Baptists” coming to the play. I have actually been at one of their protests, not as a participant of course, but I grew u pin Kansas, so they came to protest stuff all the time around where I was. I think they are bigoted horrible people who are misdirected. God is about love and compassion and forgiveness. I think His wrath so to speak, should be left to Him. I think that it is horrible to picket a funeral. Those people are hurting, and even if the deceased was a murderer, that doesn’t make the family hurt any less. so that’s what I think.
I hope your uncle is ok, and that you are staying warm this weekend. take care.
Thanks for the pics. It’s just gray and 45 degrees here (Alabama). Dog won’t cross the creek.
Plowing before it stops snowing can be a good thing, because it will be easier to plow the remaining snow fall. I’d rather plow 8 inches three times than try to plow 24 inches once.
Cute pics.
Great pictures that make up the story! How much snow have you gotten?!
