  • ceiling

Here are pictures of our bedroom ceiling. I have a problem that regular lights tend to give me headaches if I am in them too much. We have found out that colored lights dont give me that problem, so we put christmas lights on the ceiling and plug them in at night to see by.

    Here is out ceiling.

And here are two pictures of the Turkey. We made the turkey with oranges and sugar and cinninman.
The first picture is soon after we put it in the oven.
The second is when it was done.

  • New sweeper

On Friday my vacuum died. It had been dying for at least a year, but still even though it wasn’t working well anymore it was sad to see it die because that meant that we had to go out and spend the money on a new one.

I have to say though I didn’t realize how bad the old one had been until I swept with my new one. I love my new vacuum.

It has a Telescopic Self-Cleaning Duster. The Capture also features Eureka’s famous Power Paw with Riser Visor,
and a fifteen-inch, extra wide cleaning path with Dual Edge Kleeners
for easy cleanup within millimeters of pesky edges. The Capture also
comes equipped with the easy clean foam filter system and
odor-eliminating Arm & Hammer HEPA filtration for cleaner air and
    allergen reduction throughout the home.

  • Thankful

    What are you thankful for?
I am thankful for Jesus dying for my sins.
I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He is such a wonderful man. Wonderful Father and husband. More then I could have ever hoped for.
I am thankful for my three beautiful children. They are so wonderful. I am so thankful for them.
I am thankful for my grandparents who raised me. They wouldn’t have had to raise me but they did. I am so thankful that they did. They are wonderful people to raise a child when they are retired. I thank God for them.
I am thankful for a roof over my head. There are people out there who do not have one.
I am thankful for food to eat. there are people starving.
I am thankful for clothes to wear.
I am thankful for my eye sight and hearing.

I have so much to be thankful for.

    What are you thankful for?

  • Respect goes both way

    To all homeschooling moms…
    Respect goes both ways.

I read many blogs written by homeschooling mothers telling people that they
should accept them homeschooling their children and talking about how great it
is for their children and I agree.

But you need to remember respect goes both way.

If you as a homeschooling mom want me to respect you then I better not read
you bashing those of us who send our children to public school. Respect goes
    both way.

I better not read (and I have on one blog) that we are condemning our
children to hell and allowing Satan to teach our children by not homeschooling
them. I better not read (and I have) that I am a horrible person for sending my
children to school. I better not read that my children are stupid because I send
them to public school. I better not read that I am not a Christian because I
send my children to public school.  Respect goes both way.

I better not read you writing stuff condemning me for sending my children to
public school. I don’t condemn you for homeschooling. Respect goes both
    ways.

The public school my children go to is wonderful. It Is are really good
place. It is not a horrible school. Just because I don’t homeschool doesn’t mean
that I care any less for my children then you do because you because you
    homeschool.

    Respect goes both ways.

  • Urgent

For all of you know know Lori and even those of you who don’t please keep her in your prayers.

She has been having problems with passing out. She went to the dr

    They have a few concerns.

    1.  her bp is still high even though being on meds.
    2.  her heart beat is 120 and irregular.
    3.  she is showing seizure waves from the EGG? thing they did.

So, they want to do several tests and get to the bottom of it.  He
    seems
to think it is either her heart or epilepsy returning (had as a
    child).

Please keep her in your prayers. She has been through so much in the past. I have linked her page above and here it is again incase you want to go and give her a comment letting her know you are praying for her and wishing her a speedy recovery.

She is such a wonderful person. It is sad that she is sick. Please keep her in your prayers.
    Thank you.

    Update Nov 14:
Lori is now home. She is on meds for seizures. Please continue to keep her in your prayers. Thank you.
