Dear Kristen,
I’ll pray for Lori. A friend of mine who is in his 60s suddenly experienced bouts of passing out, and it turned out he had a mild form of diabetes. I hope your friend finds out what’s wrong, and gets better.
Thank you for your recent comment on my blog. I always love to receive comments, but it’s nice enough knowing that you read my entries through email. I do tend to visit the sites of those who leave comments more often becuase I work long hours and don’t have a lot of time for visiting. Your visits (and comments when you see fit) are always welcome.
I also read your entry about the definition of “church”. I consider myself very spiritual, yet I stopped going to a physical “church” many years ago, mainly because of the political maneuverings of the elders. I tried many substitutes, but find that a communion with God is just as valid if not coming from an “established” religion.
As you say, the “people are the church”.
