  • Testimony

Here is my Testimony for those who have not read it before.

I was raised by my grandparents. My mother left when I was very young. My father and I lived with his parents until he got remarried when I was 4. I lived with my father and his new wife (and her daughter who was 2) for about 6 months before I moved back in with my grandparents.

I felt very abandoned as a child. My grandparents were wonderful though. They took me to church every Sunday and I went to Good News Club every Wednesday night. I also was able to go to Christian Bible camp for a week every Summer.

I thank Adonai so much for the wonderful Grandparents He gave me who loved me and took good care of me.

I came to know Yeshua as my Messiah the summer after second grade. It was at the week long Christian Bible Camp on Wednesday night. We had a salvation movie and after that we had an alter call. I went to the front. I was crying and my heart was just crying out to Adonai. I was just communicating with the moanings and groanings of my spirit. My spirit just crying out to Adonai. My soul just crying out for Salvation. The church we went to believed in “PRAYING THROUGH”…..(I sometimes wonder what happened to that in churches) I was up at that alter praying, confessing, crying and talking with Adonai for over and hour and a half until I was just filled with a peace that passes all understanding.
The next summer I was baptized.

That Summer after camp was a new beginning for me. When school started I went to school for third grade, we were being taught about evolution….I stood but in front of my whole class and taught them about creation and how evolution is a lie. (My teacher couldn’t say what I said because we were in public school but she let me say it)

Hope that Adonai was able to use my testimony to bless you in some way.

    Shalom

  • i think you’ve shared some of this with me before and i’ve seen some of the pictures, but i’m glad to hear more. what a wonderful testimony. your salvation experience reminds me a lot of Molly’s. she was saved in first grade and almost immediately started standing up in class like that too..a lot of spiritual warfare n the schools!

cute pictures of you. you look so much like your daughter (not surprisingly. lol)

  • I am not involved with religion as much now compared to when I was young. It sure did make me feel good to see and read something that was written by someone so so thoughtful and devoted. You made a difference today. Thanks for sharing this here.

  • I often look at my one son and think that he reminds me so much of myself at that age…and younger regarding his faith. It seems we get so sidetracked by all the “making a living -work” and daily chores that we forget the absolute joy that comes with our salvation. Thanks for sharing your testimony.

  • Thats so sweet.

  • Thank you for sharing your testimony. May the Lord bless your grandparents greatly for loving you enough to raise you. What a selfless and Godly thing to do.

  • what a beautiful testimony and girl you are in those pictures. I also have pictures of my baptism. A very joyful time for me. (Of course I was way older) You make me smile when I read your posts. God Bless you always-big hugs
