More Lovely Things
Here are a few lovely outfits (Saudi Jalabiyas) I found by Wahat Al-Jalabiya. I have never ordered any of their clothes. I get my clothes from Alhannah.com. But this place has some really nice stuff and I had to share some of the pictures with you. What do you think? Would you wear any of these?

they are all lovely and i could see myself wearing any of them, but the first two are my favorite.

i really like the blue and the red ones..oh and the last one too. i’ve seen similar to these on devon ave. in chicago, so hopefully molly and i may be able to pick up one sometime soon. =) they are beautiful and look very comfortable. =)

Hi there! I just wanted to tell you that I like reading your blogs. You give me a lot to think about. I would wear some of those. I really like the fourth one. It’s beautiful. I also want you to know that I’ll be praying for your grandfather.
Yes I would wear these. I have bought some embroidered outfits like this as well as some shalwar kameez on ebay. I have worn them out of the house outfits as such as these in public when it is just terribly hot and you want something that is cool and loose, as well as modest on the body. I have also made one like the caftan w/ no sleeves. Just take 2 equal sizes of flowing fabric and sew all the way around, leaving an opening for the neck and hands and hem the bottom. Very simple to make. Since there is an Arabic population here, it is not found to be too shocking, compared what some of the women wear: practically nothing on at all when the thermometer rises just a little in the spring, they feel like they got to wear their halters and cut-offs and they have the figure of a baby hippo.
o yes I would wear some of these. In a heartbeat.

The blue one at the top is really pretty, but all of them are a bit too fancy for my taste–the long flowing sleeves would get in my way. And they’re a touch low-necked. Beautiful to look at, though!
I will pray for your grandfather…that doesn’t sound very good. I just lost mine last week–they are so precious!
