  • Your word continues forever

Psalms 119:89-95  (Lamed) Your word continues forever, ADONAI, firmly fixed in heaven;  (90)  your faithfulness through all generations; you established the earth, and it stands.  (91)  Yes, it stands today, in keeping with your rulings; for all things are your servants.  (92)  If your Torah had not been my delight, I would have perished in my distress.  (93)  I will never forget your precepts, for with them you have made me alive.  (94)  I am yours; save me because I seek your precepts.  (95)  The wicked hope to destroy me, but I focus on your instruction.

When I was born, premarital sex was understood to be wrong, though people did it. Now it’s not even considered to be wrong.
Living together before marriage was considered living on the wild side, now it is standard operating procedure.
I remember growing up hearing about homosexuality and it was considered perverse and a sin. Now our society is trying to say we ought to accept it. Absolutely incredible.

G-d’s Word never changes. His standards stay the same in a society that is all over the map.
If you want stability in your life, keep G-d’s Word as your foundation. It will never change.

    Blessings and Shalom
