  • Presents and meetings

Today the children have presents for their teachers and I have meetings with the tutors. The presents for the teachers they were going to take along on the bus but there is a rule no glass containers on the bus so I will just take the gifts along when I go to the meetings and drop them off in the classrooms then.

They are giving their teachers Lifesaver cactus. Lifesaver Cactus (Huernia confusa) The 1″ blooms of this trailing succulent appear to have a grape lifesaver stuck perfectly in the center of the deep burgundy and tan star shaped blooms. An easily grown indoor plant lending itself to hanging baskets, as a groundcover for larger cacti and succulents or on a windowsill. Light: High to medium light indoors or midday shade outdoors. Size: 4″H and spreading. Min. Temp: 55F Native To: S Africa

The meeting with tutors I am not really looking forward to but hope it goes very well. (I will probably post a entry about how it went)
