last night–sick
Last night I got sick at Hubby’s Christmas party….head still feels like exploding.
We got there and got our seats. Sat down with two couples that we like to talk with and the chaplains sat at our table too.
Just a bit after being there I started to get sharp tummy pains and my back and shoulders started to hurt. I just told myself that it was probably because I was hungry because I hadn’t eaten since 8am and it was 5:30pm. I ate a roll. I started feeling pale. I know that isn’t a word people normally use to describe how they feel but it is the only word I can think of to describe it. I felt pale.
Then the food came. I took 3 tiny bites. (The three bites together wouldn’t even equal a normal bite) and a few sips of water. Then I started feeling like I was going to pass out. So I left the party room to go outside. I made it to the steps and laid on the steps. I wasn’t sure I was even going to make it that far. I just kept telling myself “don’t pass out where everyone can see….don’t pass out where everyone can see.”
Then hubby came out and we went home. I am so embarrassed for getting sick at the party.
When we got home it was 6:30ish pm and I went and laid down and was there until 7:30am.
My head still feels like it is going to explode and I do not want to eat anything, but at least I am not feeling like passing out anymore.
So that was our interesting evening.

Oh my…and you didn’t get to enjoy the party!! I hope you are feeling better soon. Drink lots of fluids…rest…and if you start running a fever you might want to consider calling the doctor…
Praying for you sweetie. You probably have been fighting something for awhile; with all that has been going on its like you just knew you couldn’t get sick. So first opportunity to relax you get sick. Not sure if that’s it but that has happened to me –just could not get sick bc I had work/finals but as soon as I was able to relax I got near pneumonia. So please take care dear. I really hope you feel better soon. (((HUGS )))
