There’s pleasure in sin for a season, but it certainly does have its price. I don’t mind telling you that, because I’ve paid that price myself. I hate the thought of anyone else going through it, yet that seems to be the one thing that can be found everywhere I look. I’ve been given such mercy, and shown such grace… I’ve done things that most of you have only seen in movies (if you go to poisonous movies like that) and would never do yourselves, I don’t care if you dig the opposite sex, the same sex, or random sexual partners from the vegetable kingdom. I’m the most unworthy of his servants, the lowest I know, and I speak in all sincerity. I didn’t sin only against myself, I sinned against humanity and society. I look at the society I’m out here in talking about the God who saved me, and I’m seeing the result of what I and a lot of people like me were doing when I was young. It’s devastating. His mercy and grace mean more to me than most of you could possibly imagine.
That doesn’t change Father’s word or his nature though. His word is true, and I HAVE to tell you that my life changed not when I first believed, but when I first obeyed Father’s word. Yeshua makes it clear that it is not those who merely hear his words, but those who do them that will have life eternal. I’ve got a whole lot of nuthin’ to offer on my own, but I know the sweet saviour who changed my life and my heart and my mind, and he’s the only way for anyone. He isn’t the Jesus who accepts ongoing sin by choice. He’s the Yeshua who preached repentance, forgiveness and the Kingdom. He did it. He’ll do it for you too.
