I’m not a fan of PDA period. I don’t care if the couple is gay or straight- gay couples have as much of a right to show affection to each other as straight couples do. And kissing, hugging, hand holding is fine. I’d be a little grossed out if anyone was straight up snogging to the degree of the straight couple they showed first, though.
@prettynpink628 - I’m with you. Idc if you’re gay or straight or whatever, have some decorum, you know?
I don’t mind seeing any orientation kissing, but think it depends on the setting and intensity. You kind of expect it in the park or movies, but not inside a restaurant or more formal setting. I generally am happy to see people so in love though, but agree sometimes it can make other people feel awkwardly uncomfortable to see any couple snogging. If snoggers sit next to you in a restaurant it feels like you are intruding or put in a position where you can hardly concentrate on your own conversation, and that can be distracting. It’s the elephant in the room thing– would be weird if some couple was picking scabs or something out of what is considered normal for that setting. But if you were in europe and went to a nude park, it would be accepted you’d find a couple making out while picnicking.
I don’t mind hand holding or a peck here and there no matter what your sexual orientation is. I don’t want to see anyone making out, though. I think that’s inappropriate.
