Snowy Friday
Here are pictures of our snowy Friday
W was a bit mad that he had to go to school today. They had a two hour delay. He was sure they wouldn’t have school because the bus driver told him yesterday that they probably wouldn’t.
Yesterday evening I took W along with me to Walmart. While we were there I took him to the Garden department. It is full of clearance stuff. He saw something that he thought was at the wrong place because there was only one of it. I told him “no it belongs there. This is a bunch of odds and ends. this is where Christmas went to die.” (I said that because that is where they have all the stuff that they had on sale for Christmas, now at even lower prices).
We walked a few isles and then he saw some Christmas decorations and he said “you are right mommy, this place is full of odds and EVENS“
LOL
I love my children. They are so cute sometimes.

Beautiful photos, it’s hard to appreciate the beauty of the snow when I’m freezing trying to get it off my car so I’m not late for work! Once I’m warm in my car, the ride to work is pretty, tho!
I love your children too. Hahah
Love that scenery. So serene.
I could sit watching that backdrop for hours.
I miss the snow but it was 90 here yesterday and I will be golfing in shorts. I guess you gotta give up something to get. Pretty pictures.
Looks like you got about what we got, which is to say not very much. Our road and driveway have been plowed (we live on a private road) but it showed again after that. And the snow is so light and the wind so strong that it looks as if no one did anything out there. I guess we’re officially snowed in. Oh well, it’s January…
Hehehe. Excellent quote from the wee master.
Haha!! Precious!
There is a grain silo and a working farm across the road, according to the picture. That would be intense to live in a place like that all the time. I live in a big condominium apartment building in Manhattan on the 6th floor. In my old building I lived on the 27th floor. So we have an elevator, and neighbors. We have guys working at the front door and the front desk who wear uniforms, and a super, and a handyman. There are even porters here and there cleaning the common areas. We do NOT own a car. So we live very differently from you.
I think your kids are smart, and are going to become very successful and happy adults.
