  • More from Egypt

Widespread protests have broken out in Egypt — demonstrators are demanding the resignation of President Hosni Mubarak, who has been ruling the country for 30 years.

At start he chants: “leave leave Mubarak, Tel Aviv is waiting for you!”

translation “Alaa Mubarak, who demands royalties on every business he commissions, And they say he repented but he’s stuffing his face with meat (kebab), Guess It’s his daddy’s money. Money does what it wants, While people became dirty poor, No to Mubarak No to Sulieman, To hell with tyranny. We want a civil state, Not for sect or religious ideology (x2), Not for sects or for bandits!”

  • I went to Egypt last Easter on holiday with my parents (we are going to somewhere my parents always wanted to take me to and that is Benidorm (Spain)   it is pretty scary to hear this on the news.

  • We booked Benidorm a year in advance,    we like to visit different places/regions in the world.

  • sigh. i worry though. afaIk it’s all emotion. i watched a number of korean dramas on kingdoms n stuff, and every revolt it was as if there was no problem until they succeeded. you know? we are witnessing history in the making.

  • I love your image on top. Go Egypt and the people of Egypt. As a fellow Egyptian, I want the rights to be finally given to my family and for all the citizens of Egypt, god willing.
