The paranoia and gullibility of the average republican/conservative boggles my freaking mind. A few months ago three young women who identify as republicans were interviewed on CNN and one topic that came up was the way they are viewed by non-republicans as either stupid or crazy.
They let the most idiotic among them tell them what to think then they wonder why they’re perceived as idiots. This is just another example of how far the GOP has strayed from anything that can be understood as reality. Sometimes I feel sorry for them. It must be horrible to misunderstand the world so entirely and be so terrified of everything that is different from you. Everything you don’t understand (which, as it turns out, is the overwhelming majority of things, people and ideas) is a threat.
