  • Teenage lesbian couple found shot in Texas park

A teenage lesbian couple were found shot in a public park just northeast of Corpus Christi Texas. Two people found them lying in the grass early Saturday morning.

Nineteen year old Mollie Judith Olgin was dead at the scene. Eighteen year old Mary Christine Chapa was rushed to the hospital and is in serious but stable condition.

The police believe that the women were shot around midnight sometime and do not believe that it was a random shooting. Police had recovered a bullet casing from a large-caliber gun at the scene, but they haven’t found the weapon. A resident living nearby reported hearing two loud bangs Friday before midnight but believed they were from firecrackers.

The girls had been dating about 5 months.

Update:“This particular case, it does have some of the earmarks of a targeted attack,” Chief Randy Wright of Portland told local station KZTV.

  • How horrible! :/

  • Quite sad…. heinous act……. let her soul rest in peace and may the other girl heal quickly.  probably she will be able to tell what happened.

  • This is incredibly fucked up. I don’t understand why some people are so bigoted.

  • Yes. Murder is wrong.

  • I hope they catch whoever is responsible and bring them to justice.

  • Tragic and disgusting. How can anyone feel this much hate?

  • We as a people have to act and install hate crime bills as a result of this!!!

  • This is so wrong :( It makes me sad.

  • Nasty. honestly, why would you kill someone because they are doing something you don’t believe in? I do not believe in other religions, but im not about to go out and kill a Muslim. I am christian, and I believe that acting on homosexuality is a sin, but I know that I am not the one to judge others for their sins. I am NOT any ones prosecutor. That is not our place. I am not against homosexuality, I believe it is unnatural. Honestly, I have two aunts who are married, and I do not preach to them about it. it is not my place to judge on homosexuality. Even Jesus sat himself down with sinners, meaning that I should accept those who sin. if you are going to sin because someone else sinned, then where does that put you? this persons actions are hypocritical if it was a targeted attack on them due to their preferences of the gender that they date. Sinning because of a sin is wrong. he did not take correct action in any way. I honestly don’t know what the correct action would be, but trying to end their lives was not the right one. I am not judging him, I just know that sin is not right, and Im deeply sorry that a life was ended because of this. we are all sinners, so does that mean that we should all be shot because we sinned? no. it is not our place to judge or prosecute any ones sin or wrongdoing. that power lies with god. and I would love to keep it there.

  • what the FUCK?! This is really sad.

  • Just horrible!  I hope since they have the shell casing they’ll have finger prints and such and be able to catch the person that did this.
