Psalms 119:113-120 (Samekh) I hate doubleminded people, but I love your Torah. (114) You are my hiding-place and shield; I put my hope in your word. (115) Leave me alone, you evildoers, so that I can keep my God's mitzvot. (116) Uphold me, as you promised; and I will live; don't disappoint me in my hope. (117) Support me; and I will be saved, always putting my attention on your laws. (118) You reject all who stray from your laws, for what they deceive themselves with is false. (119) You discard the wicked of the earth like slag; this is why I love your instruction. (120) My body trembles for fear of you; your rulings make me afraid.
YHWH hates those with a divided heart. Remember when the Prophet Elijah had the encounter with the 450 prophets of Baal and the 400 prophets of Ashereah on Mount Carmel. He not only confronted the false prophets, but also his own people for their double-mindedness. He challenged them by saying "...'How long will you falter between two opinions? If YHWH is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.' But the people answered him not a word." I Kings 18:21. How sad when a person refuses to make a choice. In doing so they are rejecting the true and living G-d. There is no room for lukewarmness! You either love YHWH or you don't. Yahshua (Jesus) said to the church in Laodicea, "I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth. Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing'; and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked." Revelation 3:15-17. You see, the person becomes self-sufficient, in need of nothing, not even YHWH, and YHWH said He will vomit that person out of His mouth, discard him.
May YHWH bless you and guide your path.

please loved one, know that God hates pride more than anything else. If people want to be close to Jesus and truly be like Jesus and walk like Jesus and be guided by Jesus, they must let go of pride and they must stop striving on their own strength. they must learn to let go and trust in Him completely and not their own efforts. we are nothing without Christ. if we think we are able to do anything apart from His awesomeness, we are double minded...b/c we are trusting in ourselves and not Him. God is close to the broken-hearted, the weak, the weary, those who depend on Him, trust in Him. Whom did Jesus say would love Him more, the man who was forgiven little or the man who was forgiven much? our outward deeds mean nothing, even our inward deeds mean nothing to God -- they are filthy rags God has said. we derive all our worth and value from Jesus alone. Even our desire for good comes from Him alone...so we can never boast about anything. We can never even think that our desire to be good people comes from our own selves. Our desire to remain faithful is not even ours to claim! Every good thing comes from Him alone, not us. God was close to David and Moses despite their murders, adultery, etc. He was faithful to them not b/c they were faithful to Him first. Grace is all about Him, not about us. otherwise it's not grace, it's conditional love. God is the author of unconditional love -- the highest form of love imaginable. <3 No matter if you trust it or not, I will love you, my friend. No matter if you think i'm misguided or a fool, i will still bless you and love you no matter what. not b/c i am humble or good on my own but b/c Christ through me is. so i can say right now with all confidence b/c of God's awesome presence and His awesome peace when I deserve it the least, that there will never be anything to separate you or me from Jesus Christ, absolutely nothing. b/c His love is faithful even when ours is not. praise God for that -- that is more than we deserve -- but cause for total thanksgiving and praise. =)
1If I speak in the tonguesa]'>[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,b]'>[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
@YouTOme - You act like I posted this directed at you. This was the next scripture in the order of Psalms that I am going though. Sorry if you don't like it. I don't have time to argue with you. I have more important things to worry about. Maybe you would have seen that my grandfather is headed to the hospital if you were not so intent on arguing with me because you feel this post has something to do with yesterday and it doesn't I do my Psalm posts 2 weeks ahead of when they post.
Now to go take care of important things and wait to hear about Grandpa
Crap...I'm very lukewarm...Honestly I'm not exactly sure how to jump the bridge to God...ideas?
@Mac_Libureet - pray and ask G-d to help. He is always willing
