  • Just found out about something happening here

This is something that is happening Here in Ephrata Pennsylvania that I
didn’t know about until this morning.

    Bridging the gap between the
Amish and the rest of the Christian community.

    Check out the Charisma
    magazine article.

In 1999 I fell out of a barn and crushed
my pelvis. Through this I learned about the healing power of God.
    After this
some people started coming to my house for healing for themselves and their
families. Before we knew what was happening, I was in part time
    ministry.

In February of 2005 we took a course on understanding emotional needs.
After this our part time healing ministry exploded. We were asked to quit this
ministry by our church leadership and did quit for about a half year. God didn’t
let us go so in the spring of 2006 we moved to Pennsylvania where God called us
    to full time ministry.

We are trying to bring the light of God’s
word and the message of hope
And healing to the people of our community.
There are many that hunger after a real relationship with God.  We want to reach
them and share with them what
     we have found.

  • This is so amazing.   What a totally amazing ministry.
Are you going to go for healing?
    x

  • @sarahsD - No. I would go to my church if I wanted to be anointed and prayed for. It was just something that I didn’t know was going on here.

  • @Kristenmomof3 - would you do that?  Go to your own church?

  • @sarahsD - If I would feel the need to be anointed, yes I would.

I have in the past been anointed and prayed for, by the church, for my Fibromyalgia. I have been healed.

As for my psoriasis. I have not been anointed for that. I don’t feel like the Lord wants me to go and get anointed for that. I feel the Lord telling me that it is something that He wants in my life right now.

  • @Kristenmomof3 -  I can understand that.  There is much to learn from trials.  May God give you the grace and strength to do whatever it is He wills of you at this time.

And that is an amazing testimony of your own past healing too.

  • “ We were asked to quit this ministry by our church leadership”

Perhaps I’m focusing on the wrong thing here…but I wonder why their church would ask them to stop it…did the leadership see something that we’re not?

  • @hubbaduh - The Amish church would not agree with a ministry like this.

Most Amish churches are not allowed to have bible studies either.

It is not an Amish allowed concept.

Amish would not agree with “Healing Ministries” They do not believe in that type of thing

  • PRAISE THE LORD OH MY SOUL AND FORGET NOT HIS BENIFITS , WHO FORGIVES ALL YOUR INIQUITIES AND HEALS ALL YOUR DESEASES !

  • RYC:

“The same way a place could be so right about salvation and so wrong about overeating (gluttony) or so wrong about Idolatry or remarriage, or “little white lies”. Etc.”

I don’t necessarily disagree with this, but it’s been my personal experience that churches that get things like idolatry or remarriage wrong, also don’t get salvation “quite right.”  They get close…but there always seems to be something slightly off  (again, just my personal experience).
