‘Golden Girls’ Star Bea Arthur Dies At 86
May 13, 1922 – April 25, 2009
Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows “Maude” and “The Golden Girls” and who won a Tony Award for the musical “Mame,” died Saturday. She was 86.
She played Dorothy Zbornak on The Golden Girls.
Arthur is survived by her sons and two granddaughters. No funeral services are planned.

I never cared for The Golden Girls but she was a good actress.
That really stinks. She was awesome.
When I saw this in the news, it made me sad. Golden Girls is one of my favorite shows ever, and Bea Arthur really made it awesome!
