  • Listen, ADONAI, and answer me, for I am poor and needy

Psalms 86:1-16  A prayer of David: Listen, ADONAI, and answer me, for I am poor and needy.  (2)  Preserve my life, for I am faithful; save your servant, who puts his trust in you because you are my God.  (3)  Take pity on me, Adonai, for I cry to you all day.  (4)  Fill your servant’s heart with joy, for to you, Adonai, I lift my heart.  (5)  Adonai, you are kind and forgiving, full of grace toward all who call on you.  (6)  Listen, ADONAI, to my prayer; pay attention to my pleading cry.  (7)  On the day of my trouble I am calling on you, for you will answer me.  (8)  There is none like you among the gods, Adonai; no deeds compare with yours.  (9)  All the nations you have made will come and bow before you, Adonai; they will honor your name.  (10)  For you are great, and you do wonders; you alone are God.  (11)  ADONAI, teach me your way, so that I can live by your truth; make me single-hearted, so that I can fear your name.  (12)  I will thank you, Adonai my God, with my whole heart; and I will glorify your name forever.  (13)  For your grace toward me is so great! You have rescued me from the lowest part of Sh’ol.  (14)  God, arrogant men are rising against me, a gang of brutes is seeking my life, and to you they pay no attention.  (15)  But you, Adonai, are a merciful, compassionate God, slow to anger and rich in grace and truth.  (16)  Turn to me, and show me your favor; strengthen your servant, save your slave-girl’s son. Give me a sign of your favor, so that those who hate me will see it and be ashamed, because you, ADONAI, have helped and comforted me.

HaShem (G-d) is good, He is the perfection of goodness, and yet it is not His goodness that saves us. His goodness is not the basis of His forgiveness. You see, He will forgive all those who call upon Him, all those who come to Him through Yeshua Ha’Mashiach (Jesus the Messiah). HaShem’s grace and mercy have been extended to all of us, but some refuse to come to HaShem and they will not be forgiven.

There is only one true and living G-d.

Matthew 6:19-24  “Do not store up for yourselves wealth here on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and burglars break in and steal.  (20)  Instead, store up for yourselves wealth in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and burglars do not break in or steal.  (21)  For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also.  (22)  `The eye is the lamp of the body.’ So if you have a `good eye’ [that is, if you are generous] your whole body will be full of light;  (23)  but if you have an `evil eye’ [if you are stingy] your whole body will be full of darkness. If, then, the light in you is darkness, how great is that darkness! No  (24)  one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money.

HaShem wants to instruct us by His Word, and we are to take those truths and apply them to our life. As we move in that direction we are focused upon Him, we become united with Him. And because of that joy HaShem fills us with, it bubbles out of us with praise unto Him. And as we live what we believe, HaShem gets the glory. But this can only take place as our hearts are saved from Sheol by His great mercy, which is comes into our lives through Yeshua.

    Shalom

  • I am saying this in an innocent non offensive way. I have tried for a long time, to figure out what exactly your religion is, and I can’t manage it. Could you just tell me, so I can stop guessing?

Also I’m not meaning anything by this, but from what little (an I do mean very little) time I spent watching TV the last I heard people who were forced to dress to where only their eyes shown out of a slit in a cloth over their head, desperately wanted more freedom. I read about a woman who was run down by a bus because she wasn’t able to properly see out of her head dress for lack of better word. I’m very under educated as you can clearly tell and see, but truth fully, I’m wiling to respect what your doing, but I think honestly, if you can’t see .. I mean really can’t see because of a head  covering it might be safer to take it off, or make a bigger slit in it. Just my 2 cents.

Also I’m like poor poor broke, not to be nosey but how can you afford the head scarves? I’d probably go broke trying to buy 1 to match every color of top I own. I think juding it you’d need 3-4 yards of fabric to make one?

  • @Momma21CutiePie - my scarves match my shalwar. My outfits for top and bottom and veil is under $40 for all 3 for each outfit. That is if they are gotten new. They can also be bought for even cheaper used.  That is less then Many women send on a top and bottom and I get top and bottom and veil for the price. (If people spend for designer it would be more expensive)

I am messianic. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus)
