  • I love them. They came to my highschool back in the day (like…10 years ago), and my sister met them when she was in the A Capella choir at school. I wanted to get her tickets to their concert but it was sold out. I’m so glad they are finally making it big!!

  • I haven’t been to a mall in yrs for this reason!!

  • Ha ha ha ha. Thats awsome.

  • ROFL! that was great!

  • I LOVED it. Thanks for posting it.

  • That was hilarious, though of course, seeing/hearing that just made me think of another question. What are your opinions/feelings on Christmas trees, and I suppose, by extension, the Easter bunny/eggs? (If you’d rather discuss this off the boards, I suppose you could send me a message directly, perhaps.)

  • @Vladis1av@hardestlevel - We don’t do Christmas or Easter in this house :) Both Christmas trees and easter bunny and eggs are Pagan

We do celebrate Hanukkah and Passover :)

  • @Kristenmomof3 - I figured that you wouldn’t do the tree, eggs, and bunny. But why not celebrate the spirit of each holiday? (Christ’s birth and resurrection, that is.) And as I mentioned in my previous post, once again, chag sameach. :)

  • @Vladis1av@hardestlevel - chag sameach

Y’shua wasn’t actually born on December 25 and the date was just put there because of Pagan celebrations and we are never told to celebrate it.

As for Easter. I have no problem with celebrating the Death and resurrection. I just think it should be done at the right time and most years Easter is not put at the proper time. The bible is clear that they had gotten together for passover. So Easter should not take place weeks before passover or weeks after.

  • @Kristenmomof3 - That makes sense, about Christmas. And considering they were having a seder, I believe, at the time… I’d assume that maybe Easter should be sometime mid-Pesach, perhaps? And thank you for clarifying. Though I do find it interesting that Christmas starts with Christmas Eve… Is that just coincidence, or is it a remnant from the Jewish way, where we start at sundown? Do you happen to know?

  • @Vladis1av@hardestlevel - I actually am not sure on the Christmas eve thing
