He thinks my car is his
There is a guy that believes that my car belongs to him. He will chase away any like him that come near it. He spends tons of time looking at himself in my mirrors and sitting on my car and all that. He thinks that it is his car.
Here are a few pictures of the guy
You might want to keep a lookout for him….He might be after your car next!

I love cardinals.
@NightCometh - He is a cutie isn’t he. Probably why I am still letting him claim my car right now….even though he has already “marked his territory (LOL)” twice
Awe he is so cute!!!
He’s just angry at his reflection, probably thinks it’s another male.
LMAO! Oh boy! When I read the title, I thought, it was a guy who thought your car was his. As I remember when I was young and had bought my first car, and my b-i-l used to take it as if it was his! I was very annoyed and didn’t know how to say “NO”.
@Uek - no…he is not angry at it. He loves it. He sits and looks at himself for a long time. The only time he gets angry is when other birds try to get close to my van lol
@Mal_P - :) That is why I wrote it that way
Awww! He likes your car! Thats too cute. =]
@Kristenmomof3 - Is he aggressive to you/your family?
@Uek - nope, just any birds that try to get close to the car
Oh how cute!! Heh~~!!!
That’s adorable! How fun! Reminds me of the cat who thinks she owns our front porch.
AWWWW. I love cute little birds
. One time we had this bird that kept following us around…it was pretty great.
haha, he’s beautiful!
I’m real familiar with them from PA, and miss their presence here, although we have more varieties per sq. km than almost anywhere else.
Cardinals are uniquely territorial; their tree, their food-dish, their wheels, ha. I put a mirror in the backyard once just to try to teach them ‘sharing’.
Once he ‘marries’, you’ll also enjoy watching him feed his wife. Also unique, at least to me. A fun post.
Very cute. We have a lot of male birds who do the same with my picture window. Give them a reflection and they are ready to fight. Fun photos.
Well, I don’t have a car and there are no cardinals in England so the chances are slim to say the least! However, if I did and there were, I’d be pleased! Thanks for taking part in the challenge.
What a great capture!
Too funny and way too cute.
Over here Pied Wagtails play the same game. Well spotted!
