  • I am getting really frustrated

    I am getting really frustrated at Ford. I have already been told that my front axle failed the inspection in relationship to the recall of the Ford Windstar minivans. The dealers have to email copies of the failure (Pictures of it and the Vin# and license plate) to Ford Corporate and then Corporate office approves the buy back and they give me the money and I give them the title.

    This all should be so easy and simple. But it hasn’t been. Mine failed a week ago. Supposedly the whole process shouldn’t take over 24 hours when it fails like that. But for some reason they sent it in the first time and never got word back from corporate office. Now on Wednesday they supposedly sent it in a second time. It is now Thursday and I am just so fed up with all of it.

    I have a vehicle lined up to buy once this thing with Ford finally goes through. Ford is really making me mad. I don’t want to have to call again to find out why they still haven’t called me.

  • At this point, calling them is probably the only thing you can do. I mean, besides showing up at the corporate office and demanding to speak to whoever’s in charge there :D

  • @SerenaDante - Yeah, corporate office is not in my state so I think that one is out of the question :)

    I think I will let them go today and call again tomorrow if they do not call today.

  • I’m sorry you’ve had a difficult time with them.  My mom bought a Ford Escape, but we went to a dealership VERY far away because all of the local ones (which were like, 5+) wanted to screw us around.  We went to a little city who really wanted the sale who went the extra mile for us, whereas in the city, the dealerships didn’t give a rat’s ass about customer service.

    I feel you dear.  I hope my car doesn’t give me some jerkoff problems in the future.  Though I do have to take it to VW just for a minor recall/check on the air bag in the door….
