  • Bad news in Japan

A highway tunnel collapse in central Japan has sent debris crashing down on cars, sparking a fire that has left several people dead. Reports also said seven people were missing after the 4.7km tunnel in Yamanashi prefecture, about 80km west of Tokyo, caved in on Sunday. The Sasago tunnel, one of Japan’s longest, is on the main road connecting the capital to the country's west.
